DUE TO A LOW RESPONSE RATE, WE HAVE POSTPONED THE CONTEST UNTIL A FUTURE DATE. THANK YOU FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO SUBMITTED DESIGNS. ONCE THE CONTEST IS UP AND RUNNING AGAIN, THOSE ENTRIES WILL BE INCLUDED. AND IF YOU WANT TO GO AHEAD A SUBMIT A DESIGN, PLEASE FEEL FREE. DESIGN CONTEST THEME: GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS I'll be the first to admit that I'm a boy and most of my designs are boy centric. For the past few years, my sister-in-law has been telling me that Sandbox Threads needs more designs for girls. Cute, not cutesy, stuff you can buy someone you don't know all that well and give them at a baby shower. I've tried and failed to satisfy this niche and I need your help. So call upon your inner little girl and design for her. |

How to Submit Your Design 1.Create your design. We recommend using a program such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw (or the free, online software called Sumo Paint) to create your design. Make sure to create your art at a minimum resolution of 200 dpi and to the approximate size that the design should be printed (max 5 1/2 inches wide and 8 inches long). Be sure to save a high-resolution copy of your artwork. 2. Submit your design. To submit your design, use the Official Entry Form to the right. You will need to submit a low-resolution version of your design for the contest (.gif, .jpg, or .png). After your design is submitted it will go through our internal review. You will receive a confirmation email once your design has been approved. Reasons for Rejected Submissions:
3. Promote your design. After approval, spread the word by letting friends and family know about the contest, and ask them to vote for your design. Also, have them sign up for our NEWSLETTER in order to be notified of when voting opens. 4. How Are Winners Chosen? This is a new concept for us, so we are just sort of winging it this time around. Voting will take place according to the dates listed above. When voting is open, you may vote at www.sandboxthreads.com/design-voting.html. One entry per IP address. |
